Moss Egger Day-Old Chicks 2026 PREORDER
$12.00Chicks are shipped USPS Priority Mail Express on Monday of the week you select. We ship chicks with grow gel to ensure they are as healthy as possible when they arrive.
There is a minimum order of 5 chicks (of any breed) to ensure they stay warm during transit.
Moss Egger Chicks are sold Straight Run – You will receive both male and female chicks. There are no guarantees on the number of each gender you will receive in your order. If you cannot have roosters, consider ordering our Cream Legbar or Holly Egger chicks which can be sexed at hatch.
We do have a live chick guarantee, and while handling and delivery issues are out of our control, we will offer a refund or replacement for any chicks that are dead on arrival. Please be prepared with a heated brooder, chick feed, and water before your chicks arrive.
The pictures on our site are of birds that hatched from our line of Moss Eggers. We focus on raising Moss Eggers that are friendly, have a variety of striking plumage patterns, and lay large beautiful green eggs.

We have tailless, partial tailed, and fully tailed Araucanas in our flock with varying sizes of tufts to keep our line healthy. Our Araucanas were originally sourced from Edd Sheppard as well as show lines of Araucanas. When purchasing hatching eggs from us please be aware that hatch rates will be lower than average due the possibility of double tuft inheritance, and birds you hatch may or may not be tufted, and may have a partial to full tail. We do hatch beautifully tufted and rumpless birds from our stock, but the traits your birds will inherit is a roll of the genetic dice.
